Outdoor living is only relaxing when it feels private enough. In many Solana Beach neighborhoods, lots are close and sightlines matter.
High-impact privacy solutions include:
- horizontal wood slat screens (with proper outdoor finish details)
- frosted or textured glass panels (where appropriate)
- hedges and layered landscaping
- pergolas with adjustable shade elements
- strategic furniture placement and built-in planters
The goal is to create a sense of enclosure without making the yard feel boxed in. Privacy and airflow can coexist when the design is intentional.
